This is K STADIUM team
Itโs been a year since we greeted you with the name of the K STADIUM Team in the new protocol, Ground Chain. Over the past year, K STADIUM has grown more than 10 times its initial goal of Community pool. Behind the remarkable growth was the design of a new consensus algorithm, the technology and effort to support it, and above all, your support and participation. In addition to our usual greetings, we would like to express sincere gratitude to all of you for supporting K STADIUM.
The goal of the K STADIUM Team is the growth of the ecosystem. K STADIUM is designed as a crypto VC with fair rewards for all participants to distribute the joy of growth in the form of rewards and move toward a larger ecosystem. K STADIUMโs projects, Athenswap, and all future services to be built on top of the K STADIUM Ground Chain are in line. KOK Play also seeks to grow from a reward-oriented platform to a service-oriented platform based on a solid community as a global content and shopping platform.
K STADIUM has been built an ecosystem on its own mainnet Ground Chain, and Ethereumโs KOK Play also maintained its own line, but the use of the same currency name caused confusion to their users, such as misrecognizing two platforms with different structures on a separate mainnet as one. Despite differently designed reward policies, There have been misconceptions and rumors about getting rid of KOK Play and moving all assets to Community PoolTrying to seal the two ecosystems despite a flurry of misunderstandings was part of K STADIUM and KOK Playโs efforts to understand everything as a growing pain.
However, even though the two platforms desperately wanted to make their intersection function as a complete DAO after the transition period, the different policies and reward systems of the existing Ethereum-based KOK and Ground Chain-based KOK caused confusion and antagonism, leaving the two platforms in a kind of cannibalization. As we mentioned, the goal of the K STADIUM Team is the growth of the ecosystem, and so is KOK Playโs. The concerns and efforts of all members of both platforms are directed to the same place.
Nevertheless, sometimes there are situations in which the growth of the two platforms cannot be achieved in one direction, and if what was considered a growth pain is a factor that hinders growth, new considerations and decisions are needed.
For symbiosis and growth with KOK Play, K STADIUM carefully shares the results of our concerns with all platform members and asks your opinions.
The direction of symbiosis and growth is to eliminate cannibalization, which resulted from the confrontation of desired rewards and policies because of a single currency, and to find a way to grow in each otherโs direction.
To this end, KOK Play constructs an ecosystem in which KOK is the currency, and K STADIUM will be a separate ecosystem in which KSTA is the new key currency. KOK Play, which uses KOK, and K STADIUM, which uses KSTA, are to be operated as a separate ecosystem with their own right without interdependence. This is to get away from the inevitable double triangle that hinders each otherโs growth and runs more vigorously in each otherโs direction, and to stop trying to pin each other down with rewards system and policies designed differently and seek only for growth.
As the currencies of each platform become separate coins with different tokenomics, the White papers of the two platforms will also be separated into respective, ineffective ones, and the way each coin is agreed and rewarded will change according to its growth direction and circumstances. K STADIUM and KOK Play will be operated in accordance with the following guidelines to preserve their respective ecosystems and drive growth. This will be done respecting the direction that each project pursues
[K STADIUM]
K STADIUM will continue its journey as a crypto VC that adopts DPoI consensus algorithms. All policies, including the keynote of contribution and rewards, also maintain the existing framework.
As the K STADIUM of the Ground Chain changes the currency from KOK to KSTA, the currency already reserved in the Community Pool will be changed to KSTA.
[KOK Play]
The introduction of Ground Chain for KOK Playโs global content platform consists of KOKโs own ecosystem with KOK as its key currency. The introduction of Ground Chain will further clarify the identity of existing KOK Play, a global content and shopping platform, with lower fees than Ethereum. Concerns over independent reward structures and policies for mining pool contributors will also continue.
The two platforms will develop in their respective directions by being independent, and only then will they reach greater symbiosis.
The platform independence agenda will be registered in the K STADIUM community proposal on April 14th at 18:00 (UTC+8). The voting period is 7 days and you can vote on the Community menu of the K STADIUM App for the specified period. We ask for your participation and careful choice.
We hope it is a new starting point for both ecosystems.
And we promise that we will always do our best.
K STADIUM Team
